#BEACTIVE DAY 2023 project gets going

Today, the #BEACTIVE DAY 2023 partners received the green light to sign the Grant Agreement, which marks an important step forward in the #BEACTIVE DAY 2023 project.

By fostering greater participation in physical activity events during the last week of September, the #BEACTIVE DAYcampaign contributes directly to the continent’s largest campaign promoting sport and physical activity, namely the European Commission’s annual European Week of Sport (EWoS).

After the incredible success of the 2022 Campaign, this year’s #BEACTIVE DAY project will involve 9 partnering National Fitness Associations; Czech Chamber of Fitness (CKF), Active-FNEAPL, Attic union of Gym Owners (SIGA), MAFORSZ, Latvian Health and Fitness Association (LVFA), Portugal Activo (AGAP), Romania Active, Association for Recreational Fitness Serbia (SRFS), Together Advancing Common Trust (TAKT).

The next milestone of the project will be the Campaign Workshop in Budapest, a capacity-building event which will gather the project partners to discuss how to best design and deliver successful campaigns. During the workshop, a specific focus will be dedicated to intergenerational physical activities, with the aim of addressing the need, and how, to engage different age groups through campaign events. The theory built from the workshop will lead to further work and the drafting of an Inclusion Guide, with practical steps and recommendations on how to cater for an intergenerational audience.

EuropeActive is thrilled to dive into #BEACTIVE DAY 2023 activities and collaborate with project partners to deliver a great and ever more successful Campaign!
