EuropeActive would like to thank all our partners for their support of the 2021 #BEACTIVE DAY

EuropeActive and its partners are proud to have celebrated the #BEACTIVE DAY on Thursday 23rd September.

#BEACTIVE DAY is a European campaign - inspired by the EU-funded Project National Fitness Days for Europe and the European Commission’s European Week of Sport - to celebrate and promote the fun and importance of physical activity for people’s physical, mental and social wellbeing.

It is implemented by EuropeActive’s National Association Partners (NAS) in their respective countries through thousands of free events and activities taking place in various settings (fitness facilities, outdoors, workplaces, etc.) across Europe and beyond.

A full report highlighting participation across Europe will be uploaded soon.

When is #BEACTIVE DAY?

#BEACTIVE DAY took place on Thursday 23rd September, marking the start of the 2021 European Week of Sport (23rd-30th September).

What happened in 2020? – #BEACTIVE Report

EuropeActive’s National Fitness Day for Europe (NFD) and Let’s #BEACTIVE project partners implemented across Europe and beyond several National Fitness Day campaigns to celebrate the fun and importance of physical activity. Both projects’ activities directly contribute to the European Commission’s annual European Week of Sport (EWoS), which is designed to tackle the increasing levels of physical inactivity across the continent through the #BEACTIVE message.

Furthermore, On 30th May 2020 the first ever #BEACTIVE HOUR campaign brought Europe together to celebrate the essential role activity plays in people’s physical, mental and social wellbeing.

#BEACTIVE DAY partners will build on last year’s successful campaign to take the 2021 edition to the next level.
